Location: New York City

Job Description:

             Providing on-line support, maintenance, end-user training and help desk services. Designing, developing, maintaining, testing and implementing various online applications, batch process and interfaces. Designing, developing, testing, training and implementing interactive and batch oriented application system. Making modification to ensure software integrity and scalability. Enhancing performance and efficiency through code optimization and testing under AS/400 development environment using COBOL/400, SQL/400, CL/400 and Visual Basic.                   

Requirements:

                     1. Bachelors Degree in Computer science,         Engineering, Computer information systems (CIS, MIS) with minimum two years of experience. Two years experience in the U.S / Canada corporation will be a plus.

                  2. Candidate must be very comfortable with AS 400 system running on CL 400.

                  3. Understanding of SQL (Structured query language) is crucial, since SQL 400 is intensively used.

                 4. Most of our clients using GUI, using Visual Basic as a tier1 application. and ASP (active server pages) on web-enabled applications. Candidate must be comfortable with these tools. Good understanding of html/JavaScript, Visual Interdev is mandatory.
